The Reading Room is an installation/intervention which serves as a catalytic space for learning, exchange, dialogue and growth through reading and art. The Reading Room features visual art, special archival materials, a curated collection of books of various genres, written by Black women; Black queer, trans, gender non-conforming, non-binary, agender, and femme identified people, as well as selected works from queer and transgender people of color. The project will be hosted in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Allentown, launching Fall 2016.
